The Knesset has passed a bill that applies the same ethical standards to “alternative care” providers as are mandatory for psychologists. Under the bill, any person practicing alternative medicine or providing “emotional care” will be forbidden to have a sexual relationship with a client.
The bill aims to protect the patients of non-licensed care practitioners from exploitation.
