Science Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, head of the Jewish Home (Mafdal) party, was unperturbed Tuesday by MK Uri Orbach’s declaration that he supports Naftali Bennet for party head. “In the end both MK Orbach and Naftali Bennet will support me as the one who can bring change,” he said.
“Sooner or later they will understand that only the one who ‘tilled the soil’ for three years and widened the movement’s base of support can defeat those who want to maintain the status quo,” he continued.
