A court has ruled that the Egged bus company must compensate a woman in the sixth month of her pregnancy who was ignored by two buses that would not stop for her at the Latrun junction at midnight.
The complainant, who asked that her name not be published, told Arutz Sheva on Monday that both buses drove by her quickly and did not stop at the bus stop at which she was waiting, even though she and her parents waved for both bus drivers to stop. She was forced to return to her parents’ home for the night and it was not until the next morning that she was able to return to her home in Netivot, a fact which caused her to miss a day of work.
