Prayers for Rabbi Elyashiv Following Latest Decline

Mass prayers are scheduled for Monday afternoon in yeshivas in hareidi-religious neighborhoods as well as at the tomb of Shmuel the Prophet, just outside Jerusalem, following the latest deterioration in the condition of Rabbi Yoseph Shalom Elyashiv. A slight deterioration in the 102-year-old rabbi's vital signs was noticed Sunday afternoon in the intensive care unit at Jerusalem's Sha'arei Tzedek Medical Center, prompting doctors to suspend his kidney dialysis, but they resumed it Monday morning, saying, "Nothing to worry about, but continue to appeal in prayer."

The call to prayer was issued, Monday morning, in the hareidi newspaper Yated Ne'eman. People are asked to pray for the complete recovery of Rabbi Yoseph Shalom ben Chaya Mousha among the other sick of Israel.
