Gelfand Takes First Victory in World Chess Championship

Following six draws between Israel's Boris Gelfand and defending champion Viswanathan Anand of India, Gelfand won Sunday's seventh match of a scheduled 12 in the World Chess Championship.

Game 8 is scheduled for Monday afternoon in Moscow.
