Report: Arab Disturbance at Damascus Gate

Students from the Beit Yatir Mechina (pre-military academy) who came to Jerusalem for the Rikudegalim flag march and dance were attacked by Arabs, Sunday, next to the Damascus Gate into the old city, who waived a Palestinian Authority flag, according to the Tatzpit news service. The students reportedly stood up to the Arabs, responding with songs and waiving Israeli flags.

Police separated the two sides. Two Arabs who raised a sign against the Jews were detained. The mechinah students continued with their march.
