MK Nachman Shai on Sunday demanded a special Knesset session to discuss the boycott of Israeli products in several countries in Europe. Shai said the session would explore ways to end the boycott of products in various countries, and to ensure that the boycotts do not spread.
South Africa is the latest country to introduce a boycott of products made in Judea and Samaria, refusing to label them as “made in Israel.” Among the products classified as being made in “occupied territories” are Ahava Dead Sea products. Denmark is reportedly considering a similar boycott, sources in the Foreign Ministry said.
