Obama: Euro Crisis Threatens World Economy

Speaking at the G8 economic conference in Camp David over the weekend, U.S. President Barack H. Obama termed the euro crisis a threat to the health of the world economy. With that, Obama said that he congratulated European leaders for their efforts to stimulate growth and new jobs.

Obama called on Greece to remain in the euro zone, and said that he sympathized with the Greek people, who were facing difficulties as a result of the crisis.
