Syria submitted a complaint to the United Nations, Thursday, claiming that the country's tourism industry was severely damaged by the uprising against President Bashar Al-Assad, which surfaced 14 months ago.

Syria's ambassador to the UN said that the occupancy rate at the country's hotels dropped from 90 percent to 15 percent.
