Members of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood formed a giant 760-kilometer human chain on Thursday. The chain was made up of supporters of the movement’s presidential candidate, Mohammed Morsi.
Morsi, who expressed hopes this week that he will win the election and form an Islamic Caliphate in Egypt, is running so far only in fourth place, behind two former regime candidates and Abdel-Moneim Abolfotoh, a more moderate Islamist.
