Foreign terrorist groups have infiltrated Lebanon and are planning attacks, including the assassination of senior officials, Lebanese media outlets reported Wednesday. According to A-Safir, the report was based on warnings from foreign governments, and is supported by Lebanese security agents’ findings.
Other media outlets reported that at least six people have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism, among them three Lebanese citizen, one Palestinian Authority Arabs, one citizen of Qatar and one Jordanian.
