There is no magic solution to the high crime rates in southern Tel Aviv, Police Chief Yochanan Danino told MKs Wednesday. “We have a big problem in south Tel Aviv with the thousands of illegal entrants who come to Israel each month,” he said.

Danino was in Knesset to discuss security following several recent high-profile violent crimes. Many of the crimes took place in Tel Aviv, and involved Sudanese and Eritrean citizens who entered Israel illegally.
