Newly inaugurated French President Francois Hollande was forced to turn back Tuesday from his first official visit when his plane was hit by lightning. Hollande was unable to continue to Germany.
The new President has boarded a second plane to Berlin, where he is to meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss solutions to the EU financial crisis.
