Israel has approved the export of textiles from Gaza to England. Gaza will export some 2,000 sweaters to England by ship, with the merchandise leaving from Ashdod. It is to be brought into Israel via the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Sweaters are one of a number of exports permitted from Gaza. So far this year, some 600 tons of strawberries, 250 tons of tomatoes, 50 tons of peppers, and 9 million flowers have been exported from Gaza.
