On the Way to Revoking Mofaz Rule

Newly-installed Member of Knesset Yuval Tzelner (Kadima) an associate of  recently elected party chief Shaul Mofaz, submitted, Sunday evening, a bill to the Knesset secretariat that would cancel the "Mofaz Law", passed by the Knesset a couple of years ago, which would allow as few as seven members of Knesset to split from a party and name a new one.

According to a new proposal, the split must be two years after a Knesset is formed and the number wanting to split amount to a third of the party.
