Yigal Bibi to Orlev: Don't Run for Bayit Yehudi Chair

Chairman Yigal Bibi of the Zionist Council in Israel called on Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev, Thursday, to withdraw his candidacy for the chairmanship of the Bayit Yehudi (New National Religious Party). Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Bibi - a member of the National Religious Party's central institutions - said, "Orlev is a diligent man who knows how to work, but the biggest curse is that everyone wants to be the head, which drives everyone crazy."

The former deputy minister and Knesset member said that in light of recent political events, religious Zionism must unite to survive, concluding, "not just the religious Zionists, also the hareidi-religious, all the religious parties must run together, simply because there's no choice."
