ZAKA Volunteers Help 362 Missing Children in Meron

ZAKA volunteers tended to 362 cases of missing children during the Lag Ba’Omer celebrations in Meron by Thursday afternoon, including cases of infants under the age of one who had gotten lost.

The organization had drawn lessons from past years and set up points to locate missing persons. The volunteers also handed out identification tags which were meant to make it easier to locate a child's parents if he went missing. More than 21,500 tags were handed out, on which the child’s details and phone number of one of his parents were written.
