Prices rose in mixed trading at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange on Thursday. The TA Composite index closed out the trading week at 1,028.00, up .47 percent, while the TA 100 rose .52 percent to 1,038.97, including a .39 percent increase to 1,135.22 by the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues.
Most of the technology stocks surged an average of 2.36 percent to 342.10, while the biomed index declined .79 percent to 772.78. The banking issues closed at 991.92, up 1.81 percent, as the financial institutions advanced 1.24 percent to 920.74, including a .93 percent advance to 1,045.48 by the insurance stocks. The oil and natural gas stocks closed at 1,237.67, up one and a half percent, while the real estate index declined .28 percent to 287.28. The communications and media issues fell 1.13 percent to 602.07.
