Dollars Up, Euro Slips


The official value of the shekel slipped an average of .063 percent, Thursday, in mixed trading against the other featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.822, up .183 percent, while the Euro slpped .04 percent to 4.9466 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.159, up .138 percent, and 100 Japanese yen rose .102 percent to 4.7976 shekels. The Australian dollar advanced .531 percent to 3.8589 shekels, while the Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.8138, up .368 percent, and the Swedish Krona fell .754 percent to .5529 shekels
