Haifa Hevra Kaddisha (burial society) head Binyamin Hessa was murdered by 49-year-old Beit Shemesh resident Yitzchak Hazan, police have revealed. Hazan was hired to assassinate Hessa by an unknown party, apparently due to a dispute over money and land involving the burial society.

Hazan shot Hessa and killed him outside his home in 2011. He will be arraigned Friday.
