While the Kinneret did well this past winter, another body of water in Israel did not fare as well. The Dead Sea's level has been going down for the past several months. The level of the salt and mineral filled body of water fell 21 centimeters over the past two months, officials of the Hydrologic Authority said. The biggest fall was in April.
The Dead Sea's level has fallen over ten meters (about 30 feet) in the past decade.
