More jobs were created in Israel's economy in March than ever before. Finance Minister Yuval Steinetz presented information at a cabinet meeting Monday showing that over 44,000 new jobs were created in March – an all-time record. Over the past three years, some 270,000 new jobs have been created, Steinitz said.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said that the new jobs were the result of a sharp rise in the number of new employers, who have not hesitated to hire workers.
