Labor chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich denounced on Friday Hagai Amir, who was released from prison after serving his sentence for conspiring to murder former Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin.
"The sign of victory which the assistant to the murder of Yitzchak Rabin, Hagai Amir, made with his hands, his lack of remorse and the victory celebration which was waiting for him cause nausea and disgust, and suggest that the violent extremism which challenges democratic Israel still lies among us and threatens Israeli society," said Yechimovich.
"We denounce the killers from our midst and, using the combined forces of the struggle for democracy and the beautiful face and sane people of the State of Israel, we will defeat them and the likes of them," she added.
