Shekel Slightly Off, Dollars Mixed, Yen Stronger

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .049 percent, Friday, against the other featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.781, up .079 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro rose .083 percent to 4.9654 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.1135, up .011 percent, and 100 Japanese yen rose .323 percent to 4.7165 shekels, while the Swedish krona was set at .5577 shekels, down .304 percent. The Australian dollar declined .35 percent to NIS 3.8757, while the Canadian dollar was fixed at 3.8225 shekels, down .528 percent.
