Egypt Resumes Gas Flow to Jordan

Egypt resumed its flow of natural gas to Jordan Thursday, following the most recent incident of sabotage against the Sinai pipeline that carries the fuel. Egypt is supplying the Hashemite kingdom with 50-75 million cubic meters of natural gas a day under a new agreement that calls on Jordan to pay higher prices than before.

Egypt made it clear that the resumption of supply to Jordan will not change its decision to cancel the deal to supply natural gas to Israel.
