Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas met in Cairo on Wednesday but did make any progress on the reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah, a senior PA official told AFP.
According to the official, the meeting lasted over two hours and was attended by senior Egyptian officials.
