The UN Security Council on Wednesday imposed sanctions on three North Korean state companies, as punishment for Pyongyang's test launch of a rocket last month.

U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, ordered all countries to freeze the assets of the three companies, and said that they are “involved in North Korea’s illegal nuclear program.”
