Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, a Member of Knesset from the National Union Party led a counter-demonstration on May Day in Tel Aviv. The marchers waved Israeli flags and held handmade signs against communism. Both the May Day march and counter-demonstration took place Tuesday in Tel Aviv. May Day is held May 1st and is known as International Workers' Day and associated with communism, socialism and labor movements.
