The search for a diver who went missing on Saturday has been called off. Kim Ben-Gigi disappeared off the coast of Ashdod.
He was carrying weights while diving. Rescuers believe Ben-Gigi drowned, and fear that because of the weights, his body will not float to the surface or be washed ashore – making a search for the body all but impossible.
