A protest was held Tuesday near the town of Avnei Hafetz in Samaria. 150 residents gathered to protest the opening of the main road leading to the town to Palestinian Authority traffic.

“Stop kowtowing to Arabs at the expense of Jews,” protesters called.

The opening of the road presents multiple dangers, they said. In addition to the terror threat posed by the presence of a quick escape route to Tulkarem next to Avnei Hafetz, the road is in bad condition, they warned, and the crowding caused by PA traffic poses a severe risk.
