Hamas: Israel 'Not Fulfilling Shalit Deal'

Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh said Sunday that the deal that led to the release of Gilad Shalit had not been completed. Haniyeh called on the Egyptian government to intervene and force Israel to “fulfill all of its obligations” under the deal. Specifically, Haniyeh said that Israel had promised to stop putting terrorists in solitary confinement, and was continuing to do so.

In a speech Friday, Haniyeh called on Egypt to ensure that Israel fulfilled the deal as had been agreed to.
