Four Arabs who were accused of attacking a Jewish family in a Jerusalem neighborhood on Yom Ha'atzmaut were arrested over the weekend. The four, youths between the ages of 14 and 18, are residents of the A-Tur neighborhood of the city. Two other Arabs were arrested on charges that they attacked police who responded to the incident.
The attack on the Jewish family occurred in the Ben-Hinnom Valley amphitheater. Two members of the family were moderately injured when the Arabs attacked and pummeled them, and one was lightly injured. Police will bring the Arab attackers to court Sunday for an extension of their remand.
