Survivors of Anders Breivik’s bombing of government buildings in Oslo on July 22 have been testifying on the ninth day of his trial. Harald Fosker’s face had to be reconstructed, and his hearing and eyesight repaired. He now works part time, and hopes to work full time by July. Anne Helene Lund awoke from a month in a coma, suffering from memory loss. She was 23 ft from the blast.
Meanwhile, some 40,000 Oslo citizens gathered in Youngstorget Square to sing a peace song in the rain, as their response to the trial of Breivik. (BBC)
