The International Bible Contest will be broadcast live from the Jerusalem Theater on Arutz Sheva's Hebrew site from 11 a.m. Independence Day morning.

The contest is in Hebrew, but includes skits and videos, vocal and dance performances which English speakers can enjoy.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, told the contestants ths week: "I call on you to make aliyah to Israel. Bible stories are not abstractions, they are true stories that occurred in real places, with wonderful people such as the prophet Isaiah, King David and others.

"This is your land, your story, your heritage", he continued, "I call upon you to translate the Bible not into foreign languages but into deeds. Come and live here, become part of Jewish history - and the best of luck to you."
