The Ministry of Culture and Sport is offering free access to 64 different Israeli heritage sites around the country on Thursday. The sites will be open in celebration of Israeli Independence Day (Yom Haatzmaut). Heritage sites in Israel include Tel Chai, the home of Jewish Legion co-founder Yosef Trumpeldor, the Atlit detention camp, where the British interned Holocaust survivors, the hall where David Ben Gurion signed the Declaration of Independence and other locations.
