Hussein Al-Majali, the head of Jordan's general security services, held a previously unannounced tour of the Al-Aksa mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and prayed there.

He also visited other Muslim holy sites on the Temple Mount and elsewhere in eastern Jerusalem, as well as the Western Wall.
