An Arab passenger stabbed a taxi driver a number of times in the upper body before dawn, Tuesday, following a trip from Tel Aviv to Kfar Saba. The victim was taken to Kfar Saba's Meir Hospital in serious condition.

The alleged assailant fled the scene but was arrested. A gag order has been placed on further details as police and the Shabak Israel Security Agency continue their investigation.
