Prisoner Wants Money for Map to Majdi Halabi Remains

It was disclosed, Monday morning, that a deal reported, Sunday evening, for the release of two prisoners from the Shitta Prison in exchange for information held by a third prisoner, leading to the location of the body of a missing Israeli centered around soldier Majdi Halabi of the village of Daliat Al-Carmel, who has not been seen since May 24, 2005. However, even though the agreement was signed last month, Mordechai Moshe, who is serving a life sentence, is refusing to provide authorities with the map he promised unless he is also paid hundreds of thousands of shekels.

Halabi's father said, Monday morning, "As far as we are concerned, our son is alive and that's what sustains us. I live with the hope that he is alive and do not lose that hope for a moment."
