Ariel: I Expect Police to Preserve Security Everywhere

Member of Knesset Uri Ariel (National Union) responded to Thursday evening's stabbing attack near the Tomb of Shimon Hatzaddik in Jerusalem by saying, "I expect the police and security services to preserve [Israel's] sovereignty, to see to protecting the holy places and to protect Jewish worshippers at every place and site in the country."

A 20-year-old hareidi religious student was taken to hospital with moderate wounds in the leg area after he and a friend were attacked by three Arab teenagers after they prayed at the gravesite and were headed toward the Mea She'arim neighborhood. Police were searching for the assailants.
