Lawyers for Nazi Demjanjuk want US Citizenship Restored

Lawyers for the recently deceased John "Ivan" Demjanjuk filed court papers asking for his United States citizenship to be restored, according to the Associated Press. Last year United States District Judge Dan Polster in Cleveland, Ohio refused to reopen the case. Born Ivan Demjanjuk in the Ukraine, the 91 year old was stripped of his citizenship after US courts found him guilty of lying about his Nazi past. He was later extradited to Germany were he was tried an convicted of Nazi war crimes.
