The chairman of the OMETZ movement expresses his outrage in a letter to Defense Minister Barak, in which he castigates the recent phenomenon of a plethora of guest Rabbinical scholars-in-residence, leading to what he considers ‘religious brainwashing’ of IDF soldiers. “The IDF should host lecturers on philosophy, science and media, in addition to Rabbinical lectures.”
