The Council of Youth Movements in Israel will recognize local government leaders, Tuesday, for excellence in cultivating activities of youth movements. A statement by the council said the honorees were being cited for giving the youth groups a high priority and appropriate funding.

Mayor Ron Nachman of the western Samarian city of Ariel and local council chairman Moshe Rosenbaum of the Binyamin-region Jewish community of Beit El are among those being honored.
