A "ripe" explosive device, consisting of a gas balloon and detonating device, was discovered, Sunday evening, along the security fence near the western Samarian Palestinian Authority city of Kalkilye, across the 1949 cease-fire line from Kfar Sava, near Israel's narrowest point before the Six-Day War.

Israeli troops searched the scene.
