The Benyamin Region Council area of Samaria received a record number of over 50,000 visitors this week. The week long holiday of Passover has increased tourism to nature reserves, parks, museums and other spots around the country.
Moshe Ronsky of the Binyamin Regional Council Tourist center told Arutz Sheva news he was very pleased with the turnout and hopes to invest more in tourism. Visitors came to such sites as ancient Shiloh, wineries, natural springs and hiking trails. For a photo essay and video, visit Arutz Sheva's Hebrew language news service by clicking here.
