Several hundred police officers will be stationed in Ben Gurion Airport next week to ensure that a planned “air flotilla” does not lead to disturbances. Pro-Palestinian Authority activists are planning to land in Israel and make their way to PA areas to take part in anti-Israel demonstrations.
Israeli officials say they expect far fewer participants than the 1,500 that “flotilla” organizers say are coming. Officials have warned that participants will be turned back at the airport.
