Tens of thousands of Israelis took advantage of the Passover vacation to visit Hevron, the city of the Patriarchs. The city’s Jewish community sponsored activities for the visitors, including pony rides and arts and crafts tables for children.
Many signed a petition calling to allow Jewish families to return to the Machpelah House, a building they purchased but were forced out of by the IDF over concerns that their presence would disturb the peace.
