Israeli Arab Released For Spying For Hizballah

Former IDF Lieutenant Colonel Omar al Heib was released from Israeli prison after serving less then 10 years of a 15 year sentence. His jail term was communed due to his deteriorating health condition. Al Heib along with another man named Mohammed Rahal were secretly reporting to the Hizballah terrorist army in Lebanon about IDF troop positions, according to their conviction report. They were also convicted of drug smuggling. The sale of the drugs were used to finance Hizballah terrorist operations.
