Report: Prosecution Claims More Evidence Against Elon

A week ahead of the trial of Rabbi Motti Elon for taking liberties with his students, the State Prosecutors Office has asked the court to allow the claims of four additional students to be added to the charges, according to the Ma'ariv daily. The newspaper reports that an attorney from the Attorney General's Office presented the testimony of a student who came to him during the last month, accompanied by a social worker who reported about other students.

Rabbi Elon, who is abroad, has not responded to the new charges. His attorney said that the bringing of the evidence, a week before the trial, was intended solely to hurt his clients reputation and chances before the court.
