Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange showed modest gains, Tuesday morning. Less than half an hour into the trading session, the TA Composite index stood at 1,035.69, up .12 percent, while the TA 100 index advanced .14 percent to 1,046.81, including a .19 percent rise to 1,135.76 by the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues.
The oil and natural gas stocks led the gainers, rising half a percent to 1,273.39, followed by the bank index, which stood at 1,021.85, up .27 percent, as the financial institutions rose .17 percent to 946.70, despite a .06 percent slip to 1,080.56 by the insurance issues. The real estate stocks stood at 299.81, up .22 percent, while the communications and media index rose two tenths of a percent to 603.82. The biomed issues rose .17 percent to 755.69, while the rest of the technology stocks stood at 325.64, down .07 percent.
