Mike Wallace Passes Away at 93

The Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) announced, Sunday, that award-winning reporter Mike Wallace died, Saturday evening at the age of 93.

Born Myron Leon Wallace to Russian-Jewish immigrants whose family name was originally Wallik, he spent more than 70 years in media, starting in local news and adding entertainment to his resume before returning to full-time journalism. He is probably known for his work on CBS's 60 minutes, which started in 1968, and which he was a part of until 2008. His son, Chris, hosts Fox News Sunday.
